Year Round Fun
Whether it's the the annual town-wide Memorial Day Weekend yard sale, the summer outdoor concerts, or the Endless events tied to Ski/Snowbaord Season. Wrightwood is truly a town for all seasons. Aside from winter snow, the mountains get over 300 days of sunny skies and starry nights. From Wrightwood, Los Angeles is 90 minutes, as is Newport Beach, Disneyland, and Magic Mountain. Dirt bike riding in the high desert is under an hour, Palm Springs is reached in 2 hours and Vegas is only a three hour drive.

Hiking/Biking
Wrightwood Sits at the start of the 52 Mile Highway 2. We all know Highway 1, (also known as the Pacific Coast Highway running up the coast). Highway 2 linked Pasadena/Azusa with the High Desert via the Los Angeles and San Gabriel Mountains. Sadly, a rock slide took out a portion of the road, close the the Pasadena side, over a decade ago. Happily, this has created an unspoiled, infrequently visited haven on the other side, with Wrightwood being the starting point. Long favored by motorcyclists, this long winding mountain road glides through the pines for mile after mile, passing many secluded picnic areas, endless hiking trails, and spectacular vistas all the way to Catalina Island!
